Registration is now open for MASAE's Annual Meeting to be held December 11-12, 2019 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. This year we have an expanded program that engages staff at all levels within an association or association management company.

NEW TRACKS!

Key changes to our program this year includes the inclusion of three new tracks, including:

  • Executive
  • Association Management 101
  • Meetings and Events

We are excited to expand the educational offerings of the event this year and to welcome staff at any level who are interested in furthering their professional knowledge in this industry.

CEO DISCUSSIONS

In addition to our new tracks, we are offering a unique program for CEOs, Executive Directors, Account Executives or other C-Level/Senior Director leaders. This is a completely new program for MASAE and our executive level members. This event includes a dinner and facilitated discussion by Dean West to talk about the most important issues facing our associations and ourselves as leaders. This event is limited to just 25 Attendees and has a registration fee of $150. This fee includes dinner, drinks and facilitated discussion. The event is presented by Caesars Entertainment and will take place at a Caesars property in Atlantic City.

KEYNOTES

We are excited to bring two exciting speakers to headline our event as keynote speakers. Dean West is an engaging association futurist whose company provides cutting edge research on programs and associations. Dean Minuto is an accomplished speaker who recently spoke at the Association Management Company Institute to rave reviews. Dean is also a regular speaker to the CEO/Executive coaching organization, Vistage.

Dean West, FASAE | President of Association Laboratory – Association Futurist

Dean West is the founder and President of Association Laboratory. Association Laboratory specializes in the research and development of association business strategy. The company serves a global client base of leading associations through offices in Chicago, IL and Washington, DC.

Dean West is a Fellow of the American Society of Association Executives. He authored the chapter on Membership Research for the ASAE book, Membership Essentials and the chapter on Marketing Professional Development Programs in the ASAE book, Core Competencies in Professional Development. Mr. West is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Association Forum of Chicagoland, Past Chairman of ASAE’s Professional Development Council and past member of ASAE’s Membership Council. Dean Minuto | Yescalate

Dean has spent his professional life helping others understand the art of persuasion. He believes that at its heart, persuasion is communication, and too many of our misunderstandings come from miscommunication. Whether you are trying to persuade a recalcitrant client to make a buy or hoping to convince your children to work together cleaning up the backyard, the best way to communicate is through understanding. Dean wants to help get you there.

With 25 years of experience as a leading expert in sales, Dean has personally coached more than 9,000 CEOs, tens of thousands of other executives, and countless employees. He is a proud member of the world’s leading CEO membership organization, Vistage International. In June 2015, Dean was honored and humbled to be named Vistage’s 2015 Speaker of the Year. A natural stage presence and a commanding, friendly speaker, Dean doesn’t just rely on charisma to help people learn to take control of persuasion. He has a lifetime of sales experience augmented by a deep passion for multi-disciplinary research. He loves to weave neurobiology, sales techniques, marketing, history, psychology, and other sciences together in order to create a full tapestry of human behavior. It is only in understanding this that you can learn how to get to yes.

HOSTED BUYER

This year’s event will include a Hosted Buyer program which will provide valuable connections for our industry suppliers and our members who are seeking services.

We have an exciting program planned and hope you are making your plans to attend. Remember, we have content for everyone and invite you to bring others from your team to participate.
